Hi, I'm Becky!

I have been a mother for over a decade to a big beautiful blended family with five children! I became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) January 2019. I have also been a postpartum and end-of-life doula since 2016.

I started my own lactation private practice, The Village Lactation, LLC. back in early 2020 right when the pandemic hit. While that wasn’t an ideal time to start a business I have been growing steadily, educating and supporting many wonderful families along the way!

Pregnancy, birth, postpartum and lactation don’t have to be stressful or overwhelming, I’m here to walk you through whatever journey you are on, giving you guidance along the way!

My Story

When I was pregnant with my second child my body went through so many changes I could hardly keep up. I had a difficult second pregnancy and birth, it was very traumatizing; I didn’t have any of the information that I needed to be able to be able to find answers, let alone what the right questions to ask was.

As my children were growing older I met many other families going through their own challenges with no where to turn. Lactation and infant feeding is my main focus because of how needed it is in my community. I went and learned, built my knowledge so I could help others out there!
